And get over it already. Does this really affect you? All that happened is now you can't throw a loss into the faces of the Laker "nuthuggers" in which you so desperately want to do.

Game 7 was a classic. This whole series was a classic. When it came down to crunch time, guys named Peja, Doug, and Webber choked.

Shaq, Derek, Kobe, and Mike, yes Bibby, were money and proved how they can perform. That's all there is to it.

That was an obvious foul I don't see how you cannot call it, but I'm sure the refs would be willing to ignore that one if instead Kobe elected to throw an elbow.

bwahahah. dude, this is coming from a fellow laker-hater. STFU, it's over, the kings blew game 7 (you know, the ONE GAME they NEEDED to win) by not hitting free throws or even the rim on some shots late in the game. Yes, kobe and shaq get away with some stuff-so did the kings. and yes, game 6 was one of the worst officiated games EVER, but look to game 7, look to FT shooting under 50%, and you have your answer.

oh, and the idea that a bunch of posts on AT somehow taints a lakers victory..as mentioned above, bwahahaha

i'm no obsessed laker hater, nor am i anti shaq/kobe or whatever. I'm a kings fan, living in Sacramento, and the loss just hurts. You don't get over this 'just like that'. I mean, when basketball is the only game in town, and youv'e got the passionate fans who kept Arco Arena loud through the ENTIRE game, things like this are bound to sting just a bit. You people think that when the Kings lost we're not supposed to be fans anymore and just forget about it? I admit that attacking Lakers fans and all that is nonsense, but the real fans are just showing how much they support their team.

I'm not a Laker hater nor a Kings fan.
I started watching the series not really caring about who wins since both teams screwed my two Texas teams.

But after watching the series I slowly realize the Kings were getting screwed and I started forming opinions about the two teams.
It seems like everytime the lakers needed a break the refs were there for them.

Of course, game 7 the Kings just choked, but it never should have come to this.

As for losing, I know what it's like too. I feel bad for your team because basketball is the only game in town, but you had your chances. Bibby came up huge and he will be a superstar for your team and town. Webber will have another off season of questions about whether he can be the man at crunch time.

Yes, the real fans will continue to root for their team. I hope SAC-LA becomes a great rivalry. The haters will just cheer against a team. I have no problem with real fans as they are the people who fill up the arenas. Sac has a great fan base and will continue to have one. It was a great series and I have to agree with somethingwitty. A bunch of internet posts will not "taint" this victory any.

Dude relax, its not like the kings didn't get calls for them. there was favortism both ways. It was a great series, leave it at that. they will be back next year.

damn that was an awesome series.. one of the best i've seen in a while.. the kings put up a hell of a fight..and most of the time the lakers were just fighting to stay alive.. i think they just barely scraped by. bibby is an awesome player..he gave the lakers a run for their money. and i agree about the messed up officiating, but it was for both sides, not just the lakers..
