This is one of my top 10 favorite movies. It was just on TV a few days ago. I never fail to do a spit take when Ish gets the beer out of the fridge and his nipples are hard, or when he's looking at his tatoo and says "Aww...that's not so bad!"

LOL! Bill Murray had a GREAT character in that movie too...that hair would make Donald Trump cry :D

I liked it alright. I thought it'd be better if Bill Murray got his comeuppance (wow that's actually a word?) at the end of the movie. His character is obviously the bad guy but nothing bad ever happens to him and everything goes his way.

No, Claudia calls him a bunch of time so that Stanley and the other guy think he's in on her stealing their money. So, while you don't see it, you can assume that they catch up with Big Ern at some point and provide him with his comeuppance.

Part of the charm imo, didn't fit a standard formula

That makes it a "dark comedy"...it never gives you what you want :)

Mediocre movie at best. Overrated like all Farrelly brothers movies except Fever Pitch

Overrated? What critics loved this movie?

Overrated is one of the most overrated words. People use it seemingly without any sort of meaning whatsoever. More often than not it seems that a lot of people use it to just express their disagreement. ATOT seems to love the term.

Last I checked, critics are not the only people who measure the quality of a movie. I was instead referring to the number of people I've spoken to in person who praise the movie inexplicably or, worse, go around quoting lines that weren't even funny in the context of the movie. If you're going to go around quoting a bowling-themed movie directed by two brothers, at least do the halfway decent thing and quote The Big Lebowski.

I thought this was going to be about the video game Kingpin: Life of Crime; one of the best first person shooters ever made.
