Kingmax 512mb PC3200 OC

I've ordered 2 of these and I'm just wondering how much I can overklock them without risking to blow the whole computer up, I'm not very experienced within this area

if its the regular 3200 i wouldnt expect to much, it is just value RAM. i would think, even with more voltage, you would be lucky to hit 220

of course, the computers are our enemies, they do anything they can to make our lives harder, u never seen terminator? 😛

if you're upgrading to all that stuff in your sig, why bother OCing. i say run it at stock. i'm anti-OC sometimes though, especially when people keep wrecking their stuff and wondering "why did this screw up? i was only OC'ing 300mhz with a 1mm fan! geez!"

edit: ... just trying to picture a 1mm fan

Uh...see my rig in my sig. This is not overclockers' RAM. I have it running at 2.5-4-4-5. Anything tighter and the system doesn't boot 🙂 So don't expect a lot out of it. Good thing about it ... damn cheap!

they r selling those cheap kingmax at local stores here too, but the DDR500 and DDR466 version isnt much more than DDR400, maybe u should have got those. (they were like $10 more per stick at 512mb)

and i doubt the DDR400 can go much over 200mhz, guess u'll have to use a memory divider
