read about this earlier. he likes to dine with the commoners. sounds like a people's king to me.

on a sidenote, tv was introduced to Bhutan in 1999. when the auto was first introduced in the 1970s, people thought it was a fire-breathing dragon lol
 
I went to high school with him, I only talked to him a few times but he was a good guy, very down to earth and modest.

If I had realized then he was going to be king one day I would have kept in touch, lol.
