King of the Hill / DOG DANCING

I just saw the King Of The Hill "DOG DANCING" episode the other night.

This morning I'm listening to the radio and this woman calls into a radio talk show and goes ON and ON about this "Sport"!

Yes, it's for REAL!!! :Q

Ok now, time to fess up. Who here Boogies with Bowser? Freestyles with Fido?

King of the Hill has surpassed the simpsons in comedy IMO. That isn't a very easy statement for me. I have every simpson ep on vcd and have watched them for years but lately they aren't up to snuff.

I've also started to enjoy King of the Hill. Reruns come on every night at one of our local affiliates and I've seen quite a few of them now. It's a different style of comedy from the Simpsons - much less pop culture humor and much more sitcom-style humor. At first I didn't think I'd like it because of the redneck-like characters, but it's actually quite good. It's not always LOL funny like the Simpsons or Family Guy, but the stories are usually funny (and usually with some sort of moral to it) which is actually much harder to write than pop culture jokes which keep the Simpsons afloat IMO.

The dog dancing episode just freaked me out though. Even though I love my dog dearly, that's a sad sub-culture I would've rather not known about.

King of the hill is the most irritating show ever. Watch Futurama and Family Guy. Very very funny shows.
