I fail to see when we became a monarchy that allows this asshole to just re-write, and write laws as he see's fit.

This recent mess is a direct result of him already "fixing" the problem by granting Obama asylum to 'young' illegals.

When will he wake up to the fact that all these executive actions are one of the largest reasons no immigration reform is being passed.

He's not enforcing the law, he's giving hope to tens of thousands of more illegals to stream across the boarder. And now not going to even bother deporting people that make it across the boarder.

But no, in his perverted king mind, this is only the republicans fault.

While smart LEGAL immigrants such as Elon Musk are waiting in vain for years to get in the legal way, them ILLEGALS with no skill and nothing to offer get to cut in line.

Talk about sheer stupidity on our immigration policy on bothe parties (D + R).

when you refuse to deal, you have to go over their heads.

Absolutely not. If Congress makes a decision, within their constitutional authority, not to pass a certain law, Obama should not act like a dictator an do it anyway.

btw obama has written less executive orders than his predecessor.

Irrelevant. Even if you supported that statement by showing the executive orders were of a similar nature, two wrongs still wouldn't make a right.

And this is where I might actually come to Obama's defense. If Congress says you have "x" dollars for immigration enforcement, then the executive branch has to spend those "x" dollars where it will be best used. Unless there is some detail I'm missing, it seems like this actually should be within his executive authority.

The President lied to the American people today.

He explained how due to the current crisis, the wave of illegals pouring over, that Republicans won't get on board with Amnesty. He described it as if opponents were refusing to "fix" a broken system simply because it's broken. As if it is ridiculous to cite its brokenness as a reason not to fix it.

Let's make this clear. The border is open. THAT is what is broken, and Amnesty is not going to fix that. Amnesty has burned us before, promises to close the border are hollow. We want RESULTS. Seal the border, THEN we'll discuss the illegals.

A president follows the will of the people, not the will of whatever the fuck he wants. The people *DO NOT* want his form of immigration reform, numerous polls have shown that.

The # of actions matters far less than the actual content of the actions. If the only action he ever signed said that every dissent of his opinion is high treason and punishable by death, would you be in line to suck his wang over having the fewest ever?

Obama is president and congress our servant.
Obviously, congress believe they work for no one.
Stuff needs to be addressed and stuff needs to get done.
I not only hope Obama does whatever he feels necessary, i hope it really pisses off congress.
In the end it just makes congress appear to be totally worthless. Which they now are.
If republicans in congress want to cut and put the brakes on government, quit their job.
Resign. Go away. Bye bye.
That is the most efficient way they can cut government and save taxpayers money.
Just go home mr republican official. Do the country a favor.

Easier said than done.

Do you know just how long the border is and just how quickly a small group of determined people can make it through a fence?

also this article puts a different spin on it.

Derp. Number doesn't matter. Character does. If Obama opened up the nuclear briefcase and launched on Russia that would only be one executive order but kill everyone on earth. I think thats worse than all previous president executive orders combined...don't you?

The whole King Obama thing has gotten pretty much worn out to be honest.

Considering Rove and Cheney etc, had Dubya brainwashed into thinking he was one to be honest.

Just really old.

probably didn't read my reasoning for that comment...

i was just showing that the king obama remark wasn't/isn't needed.

And how do you propose we "seal the border," Mr. Libertarian?

Really easy. Try a fence with watch towers and electronic monitoring. Instead of no fence.

The Saudi–Yemen and Saudi-Iraq border fences are virtually impenetrable and dont even have human monitors out there. Not to mention Israel Palestine.

Saudi Iraq/yemen which stretches longer than our border is.

I like how you classify 1933 miles of fence as "really easy."
