ANyone else think the King Arthur movie looks good?


Who are they fighting...the norse?


I love DAoC so I'll probably see it.
 
read those books by that author.. its about the "Real" king arthur story... Sorry, i cant remember it off the top of my head. Ill edit when i get home in an hour or so.


Starts with a roman infantry leader and a roman general becoming good friends and theorizing about the fall of the Roman Empire, and creating their own self-sufficient city-state in England... then the leader marries the generals sister.. They fvck every 5, maybe even 6 pages. A few generations down the line, as the community prospers, Arthur is born and reunited England and brings them out of the Dark Ages! 🙂

have the same opinion of it as troy... doubt its good..hope it surprises me.

Looks excellent. Course, I lvoe all movies based on that time period, be they good or not so I'm very excited for it.
I love swords and sorcery type movies.

I read that the movie is not the typical "Excalibur" type story most people are familiar with. I'm highly anticipating it.
 
Can't be any worse than Dungeons and Dragons (which I of course did still find entertaining in spite of it's flaws)

Credibility, shmedibility, movies are for entertainment purposes.
 
I may see it because, well hell it is a movie with sharp pointy things and a pretty hot chick.

What irritates me, though, is how the commercials try to pass it off as the 'true' story of Arthur when from the looks of it, this movie is even more fantasy than the most fanciful of Arthurian legends.
