Jessica Vanessa was a kindergarten teaching assistant before she was discovered by advertisers for her videos.
The 22-year-old Florida woman quit her job, and began twerking for a living making six figures!
“What I make in six seconds would take me four months to make as a teaching assistant,” she told Barcroft TV.
With more than two million followers Vine, she posts twerking videos and then advertisers pay her to mention their products.
Jessica says she has a lot of support from her family, her brother is even her cameraman.
She has faced her fair share of criticism though, and says she’s suffered multiple breakdowns over the treatment she has received by people online.
Jessica says that twerking has allowed her to pay off her school debt and buy a new car, and she doesn’t miss working the 9-5.

I watched for about 10 seconds. Wouldn't spend any more time than that. Pretty lame but good for her for suckering in 2 millions followers.
 
My friend follows this girl on instagram and she responded to this interview on her ig with some pretty strong words claiming they took it way out of context. Sounds like it wasn't the twerking that earned the money (although I'm sure that's how it started) and rather it's the club hosting and such that earned her the money.
 
She makes as much in 6 seconds as she did in 4 months of work.

15 minutes of fame = 900 seconds

900/6 = 150 "3rds" of a year

150 * 3 = 450 months

450/12 = 37.5 years.

Her 15 minutes of fame should net her about 37 years worth of teaching assistant income.

Yep. I think the internet is going to give television major competition in the future. Young people would rather hit up YouTube than watch anything on TV. Sponsors realize this, so this is why they are experimenting with online ads.

Or maybe she can take advantage of her new fame and make the money while she is young and popular. Who knows? Maybe this will lead to better opportunities.
