Paid 2nd day air back, received early Monday by them.. and does not ship until tomorrow morning.

Expected delivery: August 17th.

I got it to them quickly and it took almost or just at 5days to process.. Now 5 days to ship and I live in Phoenix.

Blah.

Not really their fault, just sucks that i bought the thing August 1st and it has been nothing but shipping the whole time..

Yeah, RMA's always suck.

My DVD-burner from Newegg was my first RMA to them and it seemed to take forever. They came thru in the end though although it kinda bummed me to be out the shipping to return something that was DOA on my doorstep.

I still buy most of my parts from them. 🙂
 
Newegg has taken ~1 week to process each of my two RMAs (out of probably 50 or 75 items, $3k+ worth over the course of a few years). It's slow compared to their 2-3 day fedex shipping, but when you consider most other online companies charge you $10 or more for 1-2 week UPS ground and don't even offer customer service to begin with, it's not too bad at all
 
General rule is that RMA's are always slow. Newegg is rather smooth though with their RMA. Request the number, send it back, they acknowledge getting your package and say something on the lines of processing it within 24-48 hours.

True, but 5 days processing time is kinda weak...5 days on the FedEx ground to phoenix is kina weak..

I still love Newegg and have several thousand in products through them... Great company, just seems really slow since basically never even used the drive.

Anyone have any experience returning a dvdr cake? I'm getting a bunch of coasters on this last batch got from them ...
 
I can't complain about the length of time their RMA's take because I'm at an APO address. I had a new hard drive go bad within a week of receiving it and it took almost four weeks, but I got a replacement.

We don't have much of a choice with APO's.
