Have any of you people made a 3D impression of a hand or foot of a child, for example? If so, what material did you use to make the impression and what material did you use to pour into the impression as the mold? Was it very strong? I know it's an odd question. I could elaborate on why I am asking....

In grade school I did something like that, mom still has it too, and I think it was clay from a craft store like Micheals. As for what to pour into that... dunno... I saw this latex stuff that is supposed to be used for putting tha rubber coating on tools, perhaps you can use that?

use plaster of paris, put wax paper or saran wrap on your table, then make a cardstock ring large enough so you can stick your hand in. Put plaster of paris in ring, put hand in. It might be a good idea to rub vaseline on your hand as well.
