When Kimmel slings what he evidently feels is an insult insinuating that Hannity and Trump are gay is that OK for the left to do? The rules aren't totally clear on this.
There's nothing wrong with being gay. They're both "out" for one another. No harm here.

I don't think he's insinuating they are gay at all, merely that Hannity's lips are permanently puckered up against Trump's arsehole. Rimming but isn't necessarily a gay thing...that's quite the generalization from you but what do you expect from a Conservatard? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also, has Hannity apologized to Seth Rich's parents yet? Did I miss that, or did he cop out because he "can't comment on pending lawsuits"?

Hannity is shameless. Basically has no integrity. A modern age snake oil salesman.

He never should have. Instead he should have played clips of all the times Hannity went after Michele and then drop it.
He can do both.

If it was sitting ugly inside of him an apology is for himself and Melania. Doesn't matter how Hannity feels about it. He won nothing regardless of whether he feels he did. And yet again Jimmy proves himself a better person than Hannity.

That is one of the ways progressives are better than whatever the hell they are. I'm not willing to abandon my better self in my personal life because stupidity and hate are making headway... But here on the forum I'm not above shredding someone. It's not that I won't apologize but it's rare. If the things I said here made me not like myself, I would absolutely apologize.

Any way, doesn't make Jimmy weak for apologizing.

I'm fine with his apology, even the "sorry if some gay people were offended" bit which I'd normally take to be a non-apology if he was obviously homophobic in general (given his past support for the gay community I highly doubt it) or if I thought it was in any way clear that most gay people were offended by those comments (in which case an apology for his offensive comments would have been appropriate). Otherwise I think he's showing himself to be the bigger person, because he's admitting fault for his part in how personal the original thread went.

There's a fair old barb at the end of his tweet though :)

Hannity said:
I’ll have a full and comprehensive response tomorrow on Hannity. 9 EST FOX.
aka. "tune in for our next exciting episode!". Not for self-serving purposes like boosting revenue and ratings or anything like that, obv.

"While I admit I did have fun with our back and forth, after some thought, I realize that the level of vitriol from all sides (mine and me included) does nothing good for anyone and, in fact, is harmful to our country," Kimmel tweeted.

Seems that Jimmy has joined the both sides crew. Time for the shun.

The rules are perfectly clear. Get inline with the progresshevik agenda or be ready to suffer attacks involving religion, gender, sexuality, racism, xenophobia, sexism, physical and mental disabilities, income earning and livelihood, and any other subject that Libtards deem inappropriate.

Yes because its clearly comedy, Kimmel is a comedian that is his profession. Sean is a journalist, The President is obviously the President. The latter two are not comedians.
If Sean and the President want to become comedians that is a career choice they'd have to make themselves.

I have to disagree, Sean is a comedian too. A very bad one, but I am sure most people don't take what comes out of Sean's mouth seriously.

And yet we are still waiting for Republicans to show they are not sexist, racist, xenophobic, the list goes on. Not to mention attacking the media, their own justice department, police force, etc etc.

Basically the modern Republican party is showing signs of them turning into the Nazi party of the 1930's.
