Maybe you could improve the smell by having a dog crap in the trunk. Dump some festering fish in there, sprinkle on a little sour milk and you'll be good to go. :D :D

Danged, I haven't had any good Kimchi since I left Korea, Most of the GI's over there didn't want to eat it when they saw how it was made, and found out that they buried it in the ground for months to "cure" or "ferment".
Wish I could get some real Kimchi around here.
As to your car, Why not rent a replacement for a day if it's that important ?
Or try Baking Soda to kill it , then clean it with steam ?
Do you also have access to Mocklie ? ( not sure of spelling), that was the white milky rice, wine type drink that would kick butt.
I also need those sheets of dried seaweed.
and dried little fish, ( they looked more like bait)

<< its just pickle juice.. i guess many steam/febreeze cycles until its gone. >>

It's pickle juice in theory. In practice it is far stronger and more pervasive. I love kimchi, but I still wouldn't want my car to smell like it and I have no idea how you would get out such a scent.

What are those kimchi cucumbers, btw? The local Korean joint makes really tasty ones.

PS!!!!
NO MATTER WHAT YOUR KOREAN FRIENDS TELL YOU, KIMCHI IS NOT GOOD ON PIZZA!

:D it's not as bad as i originally thought. more of the damage was contained by the plastic bag. only the floor got juiced, and i took it out last night. got some odor neutralizer, fabreeze, and baking soda. went to work on it and then left it on my balcony overnight.

if that doesn't FULLY get the smell out, i'll just leave it in the sun for a coupel of days.

Am I the only one thinking of the Seinfeld episode where the valet leaves the horrible stench in the car that cannot be removed?
I'd have to say the smell of Kimchi ranks right up there with the scent of a paper mill. Definitely worse than the meat packing plant here in town. And that's something.

Next time get Kimuchi, not kimchi. The Japs has a lower tolerance for extremely bad smells - and the packaging technology is better :)
