when i heard about this i was all like lol. sadly this will probably get me to watch tuf again. i havent watched but 1 or 2 episodes of the current season.

In order to make a comeback wouldn't that imply you've actually been good at one point.

Actually looking forward to seeing Kimbo in TUF house. Will probably get knocked out first round of first fight.

Do you display those TapOut shirts in your closet trophy case? Or does the year of jiu jitsu you started taking once the sport got popular solidify your expert opinion on the matter?

Bottom line is Kimbo is a good fighter. Maybe not a good mma fighter. Regardless.. why not give him a shot? He has to be better than some of those Americans in TUF now..what a joke.

It's not anything with me and Petruzelli. It's the issue I have with a bunch of armchair experts criticizing a guy who fought nearly 20 professional fights, and has proven ability. But with all your fighting experience and mma training, I'll take your word for it.

Yup. He only won against scrubs. Hell even some of them beat him but the refs kept breaking it up everytime he was getting hammered.

well to be fair both mercer and Abbot were way past prime. The thompson fight he was getting his ass kicked and the fight should have been stopped. But they let it stand up and the first sign of blood on thompson they end it. it was a BS stop.

then he runs into Seth (who was offered more money to keep it standing) who knocks his ass out (i was suprised on that).

BUT i do respect Kimbo a lot. the guy is willing to start at the bottom and hopefully does ok. I do not see Kimbo winning or even makeing the semi's.

Is Petruzelli a joke? no. he is not one of the best but i wouldnt call him a joke.

well considering he made it to the UFC (btw UFC IS not the only brand in MMA) wich is far better then many fighters do. granted he did lose his fights but to good fighters.


he is no "joke' but he will never be one of the top fighters.

Oh yeah, no doubt they were past their primes. But, how many guys can beat a former heavyweight champion of the world, even at 46 years old? How many guys in the world can stand toe to toe with Tank Abbot (even a decade past his prime), and come out on top? The answer: not very many at all. Kimbo and Petruzelli are both good fighters. There is absolutely no question about it.
