I just played a 16 vs 16 match where the round lasted all of 4 minutes. Pretty much every round is just retardedly short. WTF?

Every round as in the whole game or just the specific rounds (ex: Body count, search and retrieve, etc.)? Might be worth looking into what people have the settings at (sadly, you can't tell until you get in). Also, a lot of people set up long games that can easily last 30 minutes total.

pick the games that have every single mode in it. they last a bit.
pure body count goes really quick.

or look for like the 30min 100+ kills games. they last a little longer.

Sound's like the match settings were selected poorly for the level. Too many people, too little space means a pretty quick match.
