Killing processes from command prompt?

Is it possible to kill processes under NT/2K via command prompt? For example if I wanted to kill
explorer.exe would it even be possible? Thanks in advance! 🙂

I think their is a built-in utility to do that in WinNT but I can't remember for sure. There is a good program for doing that called PSKill that can do it over a network as well. Search for PSKill, or better yet PSTools on google (PSTools contains some other neat utils as well).

Based on your smiley I get the feeling that you'll be upto no good with this util, but.... 😉

sweet thanks for the help guys, I found kill.exe and a proggy called tlist.exe which lists the processes..
wahoo! And yes I'm up to no good 🙂
