Killing my COmputer

I have a p4 2.8 asus p4p800s ,1024mb ddr, and 220gb ... is there anyway of killing the motherboard and process with damaging the rest

Rub your feet on the carpet, and try to shock all the components, that will kill them. Make sure you touch the circuit board though, not a piece of metal, or you'll end up grounding yourself.

it's not a insurance scam, there problem with it and the computer tech can't fix them and the only way my rent will let me buy a new comp it if this one dies

Change the PSU voltage, then claim the mobo/CPU has died (they might actually die, or just the PSU might go, or PSU/mobo might go, not sure which)

But, er, what's wrong with that system that you want a new one?

this system now run like it was a800mzh and it keeps locking up like just getting nto the bios it locks up..!!

The sensible thing to do would be to post every component in your pc with voltages, what the problem is, when it started then people can help you fix it. If its unfixable or we cant help.... then call whoever and get an RMA if possible.

i've sent it to the asus techs and i brought it to a future shop to get it checked out there cuz i gave up on it and they can't even fix it its a fault on the board ,,,and were do i go to get the to get the rma

Generally Asus techs can only fix board issues, not general system issues... and most oem repair shops are idiots. Ever met a compusa tech? Their heads are so far up their asses they can eat through their bellybuttons.
