This tragedy struck Portland on Saturday, and more details were released by the police about the young man who seemed depressed, willed his roommate all his belongings, and planned on committing suicide before randomly targeting a group of high school teenagers outside an all-ages night club.

It's strange what thoughts are going through a person's mind when they know their life is going to end. This guy in particular spent a paragraph in his will explaining to his roommate on how to sell and market his PS3. The text of the paragraph (with typos and everything):

You know my ps3 is special. Similar USED ps3s go for AT LEAST $450-$500. Our landlord guy wants a ps3 like mine. Let him know that $400 would be a GOOD deal. If he doesnt want it, format the drive by going to Settings>System Settings>Format Utility. You can say that it "comes with the latest firmware software" to help market it on the internet. In case you dont know, it's the special "100% backwards compatible" (60GB) ps3.

Ugh. Sad as it is, I have no problem if someone wants to end their own life. But it really pisses me off when they decide to take some poor innocents with them.

Yeah, I am from Portland myself and it was pretty surprising, although I guess kind of not at the same time since this seems to be getting fairly common. Sad he felt the need to take others with him. :x
 
It looks to me like he is a sociopath. It's the only way one could premeditate something like that and worry about such tiny details.

The paper did mention they found GTA in his apartment.
