It does give a pretty nice fps boost in some games.
Not $250 good, but at least it does something.

For $280, i expect it to double my fps.

I rather spend the money on a new graphics card...

Expensive as hell! I'll stick with the $20 3COM 3C905 series of NIC's, do a great job and use almost no CPU.
