There's a photo of the drone here.
This is just another example of Powell and the US media jumping to say anything is the "smoking gun" if this really is the drone that made a big fuss on Monday (that's a big if - this could just be Iraqi propaganda).

That is not the one with 25 foot wing span.....

for all the apologists of dictators and tyrants, why don't you'll STFU and head over to Iraq to protect her from the evil american regime.

bleh

yeah you. Pack your bags for a one way trip.

You gotta give the US some credit. At least this time, we are exaggerating, instead of sending outright forgeries to the UN inspectors.

How is the US exaggerating?

Did ElBaradei say or imply that the US knew the report was a forgery.

Was the US the only country to supply those reports?

Have a number of countries reported efforts by Iraq to procure items that are possibly related to a nuclear weapons program?

Perhaps having some corroborating evidence in addition to the forgery would help before the administration runs off and presents these things as rock-solid evidence.

I love stories like this before bedtime. A good laugh is good for the system. 😀
The thing I really wonder about is how they got Powell to sell his soul.
I used to have a lot of respect for him.

Can you answer all of the questions please, including the one of "Was the US the only country to supply those reports"?

I just had a flash. I'm betting Powell is bushleague's choice for vp coming up.
You heard it here first, folks.

Yep. Either US knowingly passed on a forgery to the IAEA or it failed to verify the authenticity or corroborate it with anything. Lying or being negligent, you decide.

The US needs no more evidence except to appease the French-like apologists for Saddam. The man needs to disarm as agreed to or pay the price. I think Bush has been far too patient.

I will pose the question again.

WAS THE US THE ONLY COUNTRY TO SUBMIT THAT REPORT?

One question for you Saddam apologists.

Why if in the UN report the drone is described as having a 24 ft. wingspan does the plane in the article in the first post have a much shorter wingspan?

No, but the only one desperate enough for a war to forge reports. Whether they did it directly or indirectly through a third party is not particularly relevant.

It's very easy. Let's ask the guy who reported the drone if that is the drone he saw or not?
