The one thing that always bugs me about FPS games on a controller is how slow the aim is. When you fire a weapon in real life in a tactical engagement, you have your head on a swivel and can spin around to look behind you very quickly. Analog sticks simply cannot reproduce this type of movement. There are some that are done well but it's still not the same as using a mouse to aim.

True, and the insulting part is that when you do something like that in CoD on the consoles, the thing aim-assists you giving an inflated sense of ability. One of my good friends used to play console-only, but I helped him upgrade his PC and he's become a very good BF3 player on PC. Starting out though, he wanted to use a controller, thinking he'd just be able to go straight in and kick butt like on CoD. He was in for a VERY rude awakening. Without the aim assist, it was just a slaughter. He's now a legit mouser, and has steadily climbed the ranks to become a seriously skilled PC FPS player.

His son OTOH, he was even better at CoD on 360, and after getting utterly destroyed trying to use a 360 pad with BF3 PC, simply gave up. He was 1000% sure he was just going to come in and own everyone, which of course didn't come anywhere close to happening.

Am I the 1st to mention Titanfall? I know it's getting a lot of hype, but it does seriously look pretty sick.

Very interested in Destiny. Bungie will not dissapoint.

There are so many games nowadays. WTF you can't play them all. I still have Assassin's Creed 3 sitting here with only 60 minutes logged on it. :D

The problem I have with Titanfall is it looks like it will end up just like Shadowrun. I will love it, but the majority of people hate it.

That and it is also a PC & 360 game and I think we will see the community split too much between the 360 and PC.

Eh, I don't think it will be too bad for a split. Look at CoD. There is a split between consoles (which the Xbox 360 dominates) as well as a split for the PC / console (which the consoles dominate). They aren't too worried about the split in community I think. Especially if Titanfall is released on consoles first (which I think is the case).

I would say BF4 is going to have the biggest problem with that, even with the improvements the consoles are getting to match the PC in terms of server size.

I mean because it isn't only on xb1 but also 360. People may have bought an xb1 for some of these games but since they don't have to, maybe they wait and just play them on 360. This isn't the only game that this applies to because cod ghosts is also in the same boat and watch dogs. However, watch dogs doesn't rely on the online as heavily (at all?).

With PSN+ you get Drive Club as well. It's a full game with all the features minus some tracks and cars. You do get the single player experience, can go online, do all the challenges and post challenges etc. You just don't get all the content. I am actuially looking forward to that too.

If these apps are killing people, why has no one reported this to the police. Sometimes People disgust me.

Idk about battlefield but I know in cod you can turn the aim assist off, my friend was talking about it the other night when we were playing. It's just a cheap way of getting kills in hardcore, people who know how to really use it normally do very good online

Honestly regardless of Platform, I believe "Watchdogs" is going to be one of the best AAA titles coming up. The level of polish going into it is something to be admired. I have watched countless gameplay videos and it never gets old. The level of detail and choice is superb. This is just my opinion though but heres hoping it doesn't fall short.

Watchdogs looks interesting. I just don't follow what it is about ... yet. Reading/watching more.

Titanfall also looks nice. True that it is an XB1 exclusive? If so, that's too bad.

titanfall will be on PC and 360. The developers won't speak about possible PS4, but the way they avoid answering it seems as if MS tossed them some money to hold off on a release.
