I don't mind the temperature (84F), but the humidity makes Japanese summers almost unbearable.

humidity sucks there, I was in nagasaki last august. brutal!

Well after 2 1/2 weeks of temps right around 100, we are supposed to stay in the low 90's with clouds and a chance for rain🙂 a couple of times this week. The way this summer has started out, July and August promise to be brutal around here.

Rather than start a new "OMFG!! It's gonna be HOT!!!" thread, I'll just bump this one since Olds & I live in the same general area...

It was 102 at my house on Thursday.

Tomorrow: Mainly sunny. Hot. High 103F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph.

Saturday: Mainly sunny. Hot. High 101F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph.

Monday: Sunshine. Highs 101 to 105F

The A/C is gonna get a workout.

Hottest weather we've had in awhile.

Fuck that...where are you at? Looks like Phoenix weather. Keep it...please.

I was outside a few minutes ago. It's still 78 degrees at 1:30 a.m.

Thankfully, we only get a few days like this each year...and even fewer nights when it doesn't cool down at least into the low 60's.

I'm in Vegas. I did live in Phoenix in the past and it does get hotter there if I'm remembering correctly.

Just wanted to let all you pussies know what it's like here at 1:45am!

We didn't drop below 100 until after 11pm last night. I think our low is around 90 tonight / this morning.

The past two weeks in Montreal has been stupidly humid. Last Sunday I went out and bought an AC. Went to three different stores all were sold out, the last stop was Home Depot. It just so happened that a customer had returned a small AC perfect for my APT unopened. Bought it for $100 and my APT no longer feels like an oven from hell.

Who would have thought I'd have been glad to move to Florida from New Jersey for the balmy weather...

Anywhere is better than Jersey. Even the bums living in the 4 x 4 cardboard boxes have to pay property taxes.

Isn't it amusing that all winter long, people in the sunny climates brag about how bad we have it in NY & how nice it is there? Given a choice - 3 months of freezing temperatures, or 3 months of high humidity/high heat index. I'll chose the former. At least you can bundle up and still be comfortable outside.

This is what I always say. I'd rather be in the cold than in the heat.
I simply can't stand sweating when I'm standing still and feeling like I need to showever every 3 damned mins.

All you people posting 100+ too... the majority of those are in completely dry climates. It's when its 90 and the humidity is through the roof that the heat is unbearable.

Yep, here in FL the humidity makes 95 F-ing brutal. Your body pours out sweat in a vain attempt to cool itself but with the air already saturated almost none of seems to evaporate..

Eat it bitches haha. It is a beaut day out today, Saturday will be a little muggy though.

Wow...temps in the teens and 20's! That's like below freezing!! 😛

Not "completely dry" climates, but definitely dryer than east of the Rockies...and in the deep south.

I spent my time in the sauna...no fucking thanks. I can't think of anything that would entice me to move to one of those places.

Hell, even Hawaii doesn't feel as humid as parts of the eastern seaboard...😛

It is supposed to be considerably more humid here than normal. Looks like we're gonna get some of the moisture from the Arizona monsoons...
