Yeah, good deal! However, I ordered today and got an email that they're both backordered, won't ship until the 21st.

No, I'm pretty sure there isn't. When I was in BB yesterday, they had a lot of them and they all had the multi-character box like you see in the picture.

Picked them up at the b&m today.

I already have RD but figured since KB is $15.99 alone, why not pay the extra $4 for RD and give it to someone as a gift. Besides I needed to use up the rest of a gift card :p

they were out of the rd dvds when i got there............i asked for a sub and they made me cry. the dude said that i couldnt get a raincheck either, so i bit his left nipple off. the guy seemed unsure and i didnt have time to get the manager, so try to get a raincheck if your store is out of rd discs.

I got the last copy of RD at the b&m near my place today... I think it's a really good deal since I haven't seen RD yet.

Thanks, I dropped by the B&M and got it. I planned to get KB anyway and getting RD for free is a major bonus. I hope when Vol. 2 comes out, they do the same with KB & Pulp Fiction! They had stacks of both KB & RD which I was surprised to see. (N. Austin, TX location)

Are there differences between the character box reservoir dogs and the one available at BB now?

I'm pretty sure the only difference is the fancy box. They are both the 10th Anniversary SE versions. Personally, for $4 I could care less if it had the special case.

Something on my receipt did catch my eye though. When the two DVD's were rung up, Kill Bill was rung up as $10 even and Reservoir Dogs was rung up as it's normal $9.99. What would happen if I decided to just take back Reservoir Dogs? I am curious as to whether or not I would be refunded the $9.99 price, leaving me with Kill Bill for $10! Anyone else care to try this that already has a copy of RD?

I doubt it will work. The system will recognize it was a special "bundle" price and will adjust the total accordingly.

Even if you did the return without a receipt, I believe their system is set up to look for the lowest sale price within the past 30 days (could be 90).

I'd like to keep RD and return Kill Bill...I wonder what the return would be like...they'd only give me $4 for the KB return?

Quintin Tarantino a judge on American Idol? He lost several respect points from me for being on that gay show. He used to be so cool. I admit that I watch that gay show, but I didn't write and direct Pulp Fiction.
