Don't schools do this for all Presidents? I'm pretty sure that I wrote "letters" to both Clinton and Bush in school at some point. I don't see how this is a big deal.

Its not that they write...its what they write. (and how)

Kids say the darnedest things

The darnedest things huh?

The letter was a mirror of the indoctrination this child has received.

I can't wait for the letter in a couple of years:

Dear President Obama,

Where is all the hope and change you promised?

My mommy and daddy haven't had a job since they were let go after you got elected.

The unemployment has run out and now we live in our car. It's pretty tight in here...but our nicer van was repossesed just after our house was foreclosed on.

Your new gas taxes have made driving so expensive that mommy and daddy can't drive us to stay at gramma's.

Little Timmy, Age 9

What a weenie you are!!!!
This has nothing at all to do with the letters that were written!!
This has more to do with your dis-like of Obama and this gives you the opportunity to cry even more!!
Get over it!! McCain lost!!

I can award cookies for top notch posts but this thread makes me want to reach into the OP's lunch box and confiscate a cookie as punishment for the sheer dumbness exhibited here.

Yep, I think this is pretty much standard operating procedure.

Lets get serious for a second here. As a strong opponent of Obama I do have to ask myself WHAT IF... WHAT IF he is able to make candy rain from the sky? I'm not talking cheap tricks like dumping it from a plane.. I am talking actual candy forming in the clouds and dropping to the ground so kids can eat it. I'd have to admit that if he pulled that off he might actually be the Messiah.

The value of a person, in my opinion, is deeply connected to his or her aspirations.

This child, while, I'm guessing she, may not have great facility for penmanship spelling, thinks about others who lose family members in war and suffers for their loss. She dreams of a green planet where all of life can survive. I would give her a 99 over most of the fucks that post here. There is a Buddhist group I heard about somewhere who have as their aim the intention to save all sentient beings. Five Moonbeam stars for them. It's pretty damn sad when your political mental illness causes you to go after children.
