Kids write letters to Obama

So in the article it talks about kids sending letters to Obama asking for all sorts of things...

Raining candy to a greener planet with green oceans.

Oh and to end the war in Iraq and bring the troops home.

Well first off these letters were written in school...obviously encouraged by their left leaning teachers.

Teachers who never bothered to teach little Sasha Townsend how to spell Iraq or lucky.

Well...she feels "luckey" to not be part of a military family, why I wonder?

Oh and people grieve everyday over the loss of loved ones all over the world. Its part of the circle of life.

BTW...a "green" ocean would probably kill all of the fish and mammal life...but hey why bother to teach childrens that while land may be green, the oceans are blue.

Epic education fail.

It is kinda nice to have a president that can encourage people and give them hope. But is the encouragement and hope of what exactly that is a little creepy. Seeing things like THIS doesn't help.

Writing letters to the President has been a very common excersize amongst young people in elementary school. Hell, most of them don't get published and/or even sent. Some of it is influenced by their teachers, parents, etc. Children of that age may not be climatologists, but they do catch what people say around them. Outrage not found.

Don't schools do this for all Presidents? I'm pretty sure that I wrote "letters" to both Clinton and Bush in school at some point. I don't see how this is a big deal.

lol @ the rhcp guy.. add up everything he said and it is obvious he must've been high as shit, if that was the best they could pick from it

edit: and yea "a servant to our President and to all mankind" is taking it too far, but that is hollywood for you

Most children are dumbasses and their parents have political views too. Not a big deal.

EDIT: Not that I'm saying public school isn't in poor shape anyways, of course.

These are from children 5-12 years old. You seem a little too impressed with yourself that you can point out their errors.

Hey, maybe you can beat them at tetherball too.

The darnedest things huh?

The letter was a mirror of the indoctrination this child has received.

I can't wait for the letter in a couple of years:

Dear President Obama,

Where is all the hope and change you promised?

My mommy and daddy haven't had a job since they were let go after you got elected.

The unemployment has run out and now we live in our car. It's pretty tight in here...but our nicer van was repossesed just after our house was foreclosed on.

Your new gas taxes have made driving so expensive that mommy and daddy can't drive us to stay at gramma's.

Those kids are going to be pissed when they realize Obama spent away their future.

Dear President Obama,

I am in a trench, holding strong with my platoon. All of us know that even as we battle the never ending onslaught of zombies and aliens, we know that other generations have said you've pissed away our future... We are comforted with the fact that events didn't start with you..

Alas, I would continue on--- but.....

Zombies! Over the right!!!!

Aliens! Flooding down over the left bank!!!!!!!!!

/aaahahahaah!!!!

Can we say that you are a moroon?
In fact many kids are encouraged by their teachers to write letters to the President....it has NOTHING to do with the teachers political views...or even which way they lean left or right....
I guess in your case you lean forward grabbing your ankles...

This only a big deal for the OP who is trying to make this non-issue into a issue....

Who cares what they write?
What they write has nothing to do with you!
Who died and made you the new spelling police??
