Was eating dinner at an Applebees with my mom, brother, 3-year old son, and almost 3-year old nephew. Toward the end of dinner, I put my son in my lap. My cell phone was sitting in my pocket and is set to vibrate with no ring. My wife calls and the cell phone vibrates while my son is sitting on top of it. He jumps out of my lap and says "EWWWWWWW Daddy you tooted!". Stares abound.

:shocked::shocked::laugh:

In my son's 5 years of life he's done everything to me from pointing at a black guy and shouting "He looks like a monkey daddy!" to telling a fat lady in a store "Your butt is BIIIIIGGGGGGG", to taking a full poopie diaper off and putting it on the table in the middle of dinner at a 4 * restaurant.

Welcome to parenting :) He hasn't done anything really bad in the last year or two though. Kids start getting more manageable after 4 or so.

I don't know if you have it in US, but in Denmark we have saying: From children and drunk people you'll hear the truth.

I would smack my kid around if he said "tooted"
:thumbsup: hahaha

I think that would be more embarrasing than the initial statement :D

"You said what??!!! *WHACK*"
"Excuse me sir, but you should not hit your child like that."
"WHAT THE HELL IS IT TO YOU?"
"Uh, someone call the police!"
