Dimmick said in his hand-written court documents. He wants $235,000, in part to pay for the hospital bills that resulted from him being shot by police when they arrested him.
This is just too much.

"sure just hide here in this old freezer" (locks freezer, turns on freezer, call cops, occasionally opens freezer enough to breath, presents perpcicle to cops)

Should have gone with the old two to the chest, one to the head.

You know, to be sure.

Of course he has the right to sue, as he should. He also should be both laughed out of court, and be made to give some restitution to the couple for the inconvenience. In addition, the couple should counter sue him for pain, suffering, etc.

Or just shoot the worthless fuck in the head and be done with it.

I'm pretty sure you can't enter into a contract when you are essentially forced to by a gun (well, a knife as it appears to be in this case). So the question is, who is the lawyer that is doing the suit?

An oral agreement under duress is no agreement at all. Depending on the state, there could be court cost/fee shifting for the perp (assuming this properly gets thrown out).

Pretty sure there isn't one.

It's generally called "under duress", and yes, it is definitely grounds to void a contract.

I'm sure the State is going to pay the bills for all of this since he's in State custody. Just another in a long line of prisoner lawsuits that the States pay for.

This is so retarded. What they need to do is drag his ass to the courthouse steps, tie him down, and behead him using a rusty butter knife. Send a clear message that stupid shit like this is not acceptable anymore. Ugh!

Anyone can sue anyone for anything, no matter how ridiculous. The only travesty would be if this suit is not immediately dismissed.
