KICQ ... Help needed

Hello,

Im running Mandrake 8.1 and am trying to get KICQ up and running.
I managed to register and get a UIN Number. 🙂

Now I havent used ICQ before so where do i start.
My girlfriend wanted me to get ICQ so I can send her text messages on her cellphone. (I dont currently have a cellphone).
But i run LINUX so KICQ was the way to go.

Can anyone point me to any good tutorials or give me one now.

Ive never touched kicq, but check out the icq page. There has to be something there about how to use icq. Also, who does she get her service from? You can generally send her txt msgs on cellphones through email or the site of the provider.
