Ahh I wish the beta access wasn't $100. That would be nice to have, but I don't think I'm enthused about it that much! :\

What makes no sense is a mid-2015 release date, but the final stretch going is a PS3/360/Wii U version.

PS2 just got a game recently. I expect PS3/360 to continue getting multiplatform games, like Madden and FIFA, for a while.

That said, I don't know why they wouldn't to PS4/XBone/Wii U. Especially since PC -> PS4/XBone would be easy.

I was thinking that since the PS4/XB1 are x86 platforms, it would be an easy port.

I thought it was another Megaman at first, but after reading the age I was impressed.
Down for $1,000.
I'm going to have my daughter do the end credits voice, she'll be 8 by then.

I've loved MM since day one, and still do, but haven't enjoyed it since it was on NES. It needs to be rebooted fully, and I believe in the vision of the team.
My daughter is a gamer too, so she will think it's awesome. (I just realized she'll be 9 in April of 2015!)
I have faith they will surpass their goal.

Very interesting project and I will humbly back it.

The very first Megaman game I've played... if memory serves me well, was MM3 (NES). I'm not sure but I do think it was the first in the series with the robot dog companion. I also remember a "Magnet Man" and I do think that was MM3.

So anyway! ... gosh the memories ...

Yeah that Mighty No. 9 project, seems very interesting, and I hope that they get all the funding necessary and even beyond their expectations. I can't afford to back them up with much but I'll do my best. If I can put $50 or so I'll be happy. If I could I'd literally go with max and get a dinner with Inafune... even though I don't exactly speak Japanese. Do they provide the translator? Hehe.

Good luck to them!

Deciding between $60 and $250; I'm a big fan of getting the boxed editions of things when I can, and that $250 tier gets me the hardcover art/guide book as well as another copy of the boxed edition, as well as other goodies....hmm.

Same here, and it just kept going up from there. :)

$250 would definitely be my max; That's around what I paid for the Project Eternity and Torment Tides of Numenara ones and those are supposed to be much larger games...

But man...that signed hardcover...

Glad too see this is doing so well. Keiji Inafune deserves it after how Capcom treated him and Mega Man like a piece of leprous crap. If this goes well hopefully we'll see a spiritual successor to Mega Man Legends as well.

Looks like they added some more funding levels as well as move up the documentary and console targets.
