Damn... I woke up to find that 463MHz 2-6-2-2 locked up Memtest-86 tighter than Dick's hatband. :frown: It seemed stable enough in WinXP Pro though.. Oh well, 451MHz 2-6-2-2 makes me happy. :) I will slowly bump it up to see where (if) it is Memtest-86 stable in-between 451-463MHz 2-6-2-2 @ 2.8v.

Next, I will post final results from 2 512MB sticks of generic Winbond BH-5 from PalmTreePC in the BH7. I paid under $80.00 apiece for these 512MB sticks. ;)

Hmmmm.. Do we have a sleeper here with Buffalo Tech DDR? Their PC32-3700 uses Winbond BH-5 also, and PCB quality seems good. The price at Newegg is certainly right.... $70.00 for 512MB PC3200.... $91.00 for 512MB PC3700... I may have to go Buffalo hunting. ;) :p

I will probably go with 2 256MB sticks of the Buffalo Tech PC3700 for $51.00 each when it is back in stock.. (Looks like people are buying the hell out of the Buffalo/Winbond) Even with shipping charges, it is not a bad deal. On the other hand, I may go for 2 256MB sticks of Buffalo/Winbond PC3200 for $36.00 each... :Q
