omg, roaming aimlessly in one store for 4 hours... dude, get a life. Volunteer in a animal shelter or something...
I was kicked out of an animal shelter because I was chillin with the dogs for 12 hours.
Why are we making fun of him? He's obviously mentally challenged.

I was told to go home now after being at Chinese buffet for four hour.
Why are you spending multiple hours in a store with no idea what to buy?
12 hours a fry's? why? were you working there?
Don't you own a Prius? I would have thought that you'd understand my desire to have a high fuel efficiency vehicle but apparently you don't. Who is trolling now? There isn't anything unreasonable about inflating tires to sidewall unless it's the rear tires of an unloaded pickup, there isn't anything wrong with being a store for several hours, there isn't anything wrong with wanting to go to the gym while also being concerned that one's own habits are hurting the environment. If I lived within walking distance of the GYM, you can bet your ass I'd be walking there but I don't, I live very far away from the GYM and it would take me over an hour just to get there if I walked or used a bicycle partly due to the terrain...Based on this thread and others from fleabag I think he is now simply a troll. I no longer believe he is a real person with a mental problem projecting truth but rather a real person with a mental problem making up a persona. I still cannot get over his desire to get his civic up to 50 mpg at which point he would be able to start driving to the gym and working out again.
He is not real.
Anyway, lets get back on topic. I need about 10 "drawers" worth of filing cabinet space but I don't want to buy an actual filing cabinet because that would be too expensive. So about a week or two ago, I had bought some filing boxes but then discovered a problem with them.. I already have a bunch of legal sized hanging folders and the filing boxes I bought, while they do support legal, they don't support hanging legal. So then I had to decide, do I return the boxes I bought which were already quite discounted (only $20) and then buy the appropriate containers for a lot more money or do I give up on the idea of using the hanging folders that I already have and just buy a bunch of boxes worth of Legal Sized folders that aren't hanging. One problem with the second approach is that unless the box is completely filled, the folders are going to fold over and I don't want that to happen. Office max is quite expensive but I don't know of any B&M stores that are cheaper and that offer the same or more stuff. I think part of the problem is that they have too many idle employees and not enough customers..

Just so that everybody remembers, my conservation habits aren't just for me, they're for everyone so therefore I should be praised for my concern of the environment, not scorned.
In both cases I did spend a lot of time chatting with employees and whatnot. I'd say half of the time I spent in the Office Max was spent chatting and the other half was trying to figure out what was cheaper or what were my options for "cabinets". I just feel it's kind of dumb to kick me out of the store like 40 minutes before (I think?) they were about to close especially when the entire store was empty and they had like 10 employees just strolling around doing nothing.
Have you ever heard of malls ? I bet you spend 24 hrs in there for sure !!
My Bicycle needs work and walking isn't enough for me in the case of cabin fever due to where I live. I don't like walking in my neighborhood because all I'd be doing is walking in an oval. Now if I lived in a semi-urban area, you'd probably be right but I don't. Riding a bicycle would mostly solve that issue that I described though even then, riding a bicycle where I live isn't feasible.fleabag, I can only speak for myself, but I'm confident the vast majority of people here don't care what you do or don't do to try to single-handedly save the planet, nor should you expect any of us to genuflect in your honor because you hypermile. That's not because some of us aren't concerned about the environment, it's because nearly everything you do demonstrates a fundamental lack of understanding and/or logic. Your explanation is a perfect example. You don't want to drive your car too much, yet you use "cabin fever" as an excuse to drive to a store KNOWING that you don't have full information. Then when you hit a snag, you hang around the place like ward of the state trying to calculate penny savings and how many trips it will take to solve this vexing filing problem.
If you were truly smart and ecologically minded, you would have cured your cabin fever with a bike ride or walk or run, then checked the internet to see if you needed to go to the store. And if the math got too complicated, you could always leave the cabin again and run equations on your solar powered calculator.
So what you're saying is that they got TIREd of you being there?

The point of this thread was to ask if anyone had ever experienced what I had. If anyone wants to know why I was in the store, it was because I was trying to decide between two different filing systems but didn't want to drive home until I had decided in order to save gasoline. I went to the store in the first place in order to return an item so I figured I would make use of my time and pickup some things I need. I was getting antsy and was suffering from some serious cabin fever since I haven't driven anywhere in a while which is part of the reason why I didn't bother searching online for what I needed. Just so that everybody remembers, my conservation habits aren't just for me, they're for everyone so therefore I should be praised for my concern of the environment, not scorned.
