In the store.. Checking people's tire pressure isn't useful unless I can inform them of their under-inflated tires.

What the hell could you be doing there for that long. Even if I don't know what I want it takes a max of 30 minutes to figure it out. Just hop on my blackberry and look online for reviews/prices or whatever.

If you search google you can find a surprisingly large number of people that spend 24+ hours in a Walmart.

I was going to link to one example, but apparently many people have done this...

The most I spent at Fry's was an hour and a half only because I was getting a new sound system installed close by and needed something to do to kill time. I couldn't stand being there longer than that.

As others have said that's a long time to spend in a store. They probably thought you were planning to steal something, or just loitering...

Several years ago I worked at a comic shop and 1 guy would always come in and look around/read books for hours. After I found out he did this every week I was told after a certain amount of time to ask him to leave.

4 hours in an Office Max? 12 in a Frys Electronics? I am sure in both case the store employees were initially polite because they thought you wandered away from your group of other “special’ kids and that the short yellow bus would be by to eventually pick you up. You just managed to wear out the good will and patience of the Office Max people. You were lucky they didn’t call social services.

Seriously. 12 hours in an electronics shop? Your obsession with sidewall pressure, over analysis of transmissions and such, inability to make a decision when faced with too many choices. Have you been tested for autism? Doesn’t this behavior strike you as a bit odd? Whatever you may think this is not normal.

yes but I assume it is because Americans have such a bad mental health system - walmart serves as an overflow for the prison system. they pack the violent ones in jail and send the others on day passes to walmart. and no one gets the treatment they need.

I was in an Office Max today for apparently 4 hours because I couldn't decide on what to buy. I ended up buying something anyway before I left (unrelated item). I was wondering if anyone had ever been kicked out a store because they were in there too long? I've been in a Frys Electronics for like 12 hours before and never have been kicked out of there but Office Max? The difference with Frys and Office max was that Office Max was empty and had like 10 employees standing around doing nothing while at Frys it's nearly always packed with customers and has many more employees actually working.. Just thought I should point that out.

i got kicked out of a dentist's office for weezing the nitrous, does that count?
i got kicked out of a bar for being in there too long, does that count?

now this, I'll believe.

Ninja edit?

Holy shit: Zane and Fleabag in the same thread!
And there we have it, the Higgs Boson.

All we need is spaceman and I'm pretty sure a wormhole will open.

I was once kicked out of an Office Max parking lot for inflating everyone's tires to sidewall pressure.
