I train to compete in Olympic lifting and having strong abs is a fundamental. I just want to get f0cking strong :D The body apperance will come later. It may not be optimal for size/ aesthetics but I'm not it for that.

I just want insane strength :D

Btw I only do about 1 ab exercise or 1 back specific exercise at the end of my sessions. I don't separate my days in to this or that. Strong abs and back will help you lift more but also prevent injuries in the way that I lift.

Anyways, back when I did try to work out abs, I could hold this and keep my back straight well over 2 minutes. Got bored and moved on.</blockquote>

It's not silly. It is a plank position. It is just another exercie to incorporate in ones training schedule. It is never good to do the same exercises over and over again. every 6-8-12 weeks once your beyond the 4-6month stage of training people should switch up what they are doing.

Easily more then 34seconds...reps of 30seconds on my obliques, 30s each side 3sets, no rets, then I do what your doing for 30s on my forearms then I do it across two benches with my angles and head across the benches for 30seconds. Thats both for 3sets.

Cool exercise.

Try with one hand and one leg on the floor and your other arm and leg just held out straight :). NOW thats harder :)

You can do the dragonflags on a bench. NO ONE does these at any gym you'll go to...very hard to get a full one where you go all the way down and all the way back up...

I actually tried out the bulkoffs in your video. I was surprised I was able to do 3 reps. It was kind of fun doing it since no one really does that. haha
