Kick Ass movie trailer

You have to watch the bootleg clips to truly appreciate the awesomeness of this movie. Or just read the comic.

Yeah, the red-band trailer definitely gives a better feel for the movie. It's insanely violent. Audiences that have seen it so far have gone ape shit for it. Its going to be a huge movie when it comes out.

Spoilers (but not really, since the comic is out already):
With any luck they'll have the scene where Big Daddy (Nick Cage) gets shot through the face.

At first, I thought the movie looked kinda lame, but as the trailer progressed I realized that it's not just another mediocre comedy.

Well lets see I like Mark Millars work in comics, and the director Matthew Vaughn did Layer Cake which is one of my favorite movies so this might have potential

This shows a bit more of the action:

well shit, I thought this was going to be a film that explored the thought of people trying to be super heroes in a real world, but that's obviously not a real world because reloading your gun while throwing the magazines into the air and then intercepting them with your gun is not real. Nor is jumping off of wall gun fights matrix/equilibrium style. I thought this was going to be comical in the sense that the heroes would be somewhat inept but still find a way to succeed sort of a stumble and bumble but succeed only through sheer dumb luck but not be any the wiser.

OK that looks potentially fun - like a way over the top action-comedy like Shoot Em Up.
While my initial assessment based off of the trailer in the OP seems to be wrong, I suppose this could be an entertaining movie in that regard. But still, I'm still a little put off by a movie trying to claim no superhuman powers when the characters really are performing super human feats.
