One rebate per item is a pain in the A$$.

Over 100.00 in rebates and Lots of paper work... I'll pass .

Sometimes I feel like I have another Job with these guys.... I once had 3 rebates on a pack of CDR's from Officemax! B@stards!

Question - I bought one. Both rebates ask for the UPC. For those of you who bought it, which offer did you send the original UPC to and which one did you send a copy of the UPC and a note to?

Send copy of upc to mutli list (these were OM rebate) on Pcash.pdf. Send original one to the manf.

Just remind all that the rebate of Khypermedia CDRW need to be send within 7 days of purchase.


Also, the memory is take out online.

I got it, but there's no receipt or anything. They put a piece of paper saying it will be sent by mail later. That's a good way of blowing the 7 days :frown:

Customer Service at 1-800-283-7674 and have them fax a copy to you.

If you slip past the 7 days just go to your local store and have them rering the purchase again. I did this yesterday and got a new receipt including a rebate receipt as well. Helps to have some sort of invoice to bring along to the store.

Got my items today.

The CD-RW is a rebadged Benq 5224P. There is a firmware upgrade to K.UC for it here. It came with NERO Express (version 5.).

The RAM has Kingston chips on it with the following markings:

D328-DL-60 0320PT16

Anyone with any knowledge about these chips? If my eyes aren't deceiving me, it looks like some markings have been removed from the center of the chips. I wonder if Kingston is removing the name and putting thier own on the chips. I don't think they make their own chips -- do they?

Need a little help here. After reading and rereading this thread since it started, I have looked all over the OM site but cannot find this particular DDR PC2700 Kingston RAM anywhere! Yes, I did see it listed in the rebates but no where else can it be found (for me in central Illinois) can I either order or buy it.

This afternoon, after a week of looking online, I went to our local OM and they not only do not carry it but the number doesn't register (or scan) in their system...

Any suggestions on where (or how) you all who bought and received a 512MB PC2700 Kingston Value Ram from OM can be accomplished?

Thank you in advance.

Frustrated in central Illinois....

You must not have read every post in this thread! :)

I posted above (a little more than halfway down the thread) that you can phone in your order. That's what I did because I couldn't find it either. I got both the memory and the drive yesterday. I posted the details of both above too.
