New items have been put on sale at gap.com (I believe they can also be found at B&M stores).

These include many jeans for 19.99 or 24.99 and khakis/pants for 14.99 and up. Also, some shirts although not many sizes available.

I personally ordered 3 pairs of nice pants for <$50.

Site is very slow though. I think they're going fast.

There are some Khakis for less. Go to the Khakis section and click on each different type to see what's on sale.

For instance, there are some colors of the clean cut style for $14.99.

I'm not sure why they don't show up in the sale section.

Why do they always have a sale just 2-3 weeks after I pay full price for these particular items??? :(

I paid $38 for my relaxed fit, pleated khakis :p

Ah, I feel much better! $24.99 is just for the "weird" (imo) mahogany and uniform colors of this style.

Possum, whenever that happens to me at the B/M store, I just march right in and ask for a price adjustment-- and they always give it to me. You should call the 1-800 number and ask them to do the same for you.

Cheap stuff -- it's only worth $20! I buy the jeans for that amount, but they only last about 3 years of so before they start shredding. Never found the khakis to be very nice -- prefer Dockers. Thanks for the sale heads-up though.

50ftqueenie, thanks for that great bit of info. I'll remember to do that next time. :)
