I don't know if this is a re-post or not. I'm at work behind a firewall and find the web server for this site almost impossible to use (keeps timing out). I can post but that's about it.
Anyway, newegg has some refurb KG7s for $45 free shipping. I got one of these a few months ago for $55 shipped and have been very happy with it. It's true the board does a bit of a RAM problem. Every time I change the RAM I get the long mem error beep unless I clear the CMOS with the DIMM slots unoccupied. I might have RMA'd it, too, if I had paid $130 for it new, but for $55 shipped, and now at $45, I can live with it.
I don't know how many of you have used this 760 AMD chipset, but I find it to be extremely stable and robust. My KG7 has taken every thing I've thown at it without missing a beat, and even though it lags behind the KT266a by about 5% in synthetic benchies, I personally consider it to be the most viable AMD platform - anyway, that's just MHO and I didn't want to start a chipset debate.
They have about 8 boards left:
