KG7 on Pricewatch!

These places are stringing everyone along. The board won't be out until last week of June or middle July. That's what abit said, and Abit should know more than these other loser companies trying to pull a fast one on people.

I'd go with the epox 8k7a. I been running one for about a month now (Awsome Board) Running one of compuwiz's 1.2 axia code thinderbords. (OverClocked of course) Also running 512 ddr memory. I mean isn't that enough....

And if i was going to go raid... I'd want the promise chip. Thats why i have a promise fast trake xt2 with 2 ibm 60gxp drives. Those drives can move 🙂

Just my opinion

<< Sort of a rip-off. Whats the difference between this board and the Epox board, besides RAID? >>

LOL, there will be no differences: the 8K7A+, the 7DXR and the KG7, are all out of the same box, exactly same design. We know there is no issue with the AMD 760 chipset, unless Abit really screws up, there will be no difference in performance. 1 DIMM more or less, 1 PCI slot more or less, a different RAID on-board controller, maybe the anyway unwanted sound chip is better here or there, that's it. 🙂

My girlfriend decided, she liked the blue/red design of the Giga better than the green Epox, so we kept the Giga, isn't that funny? 🙂
