No, actually in England as well as other European countries, I have seen mutations of KFC. This is simply because the trademark enforcement requires complaints and I'll bet you'll find that the Chineese wouldn't be disturbed aboiut ripping off an American company. A vast majority of piarted DVD, CD and Softwarez comes from China. Why would they care about KFC???

Its alot easier to crack down on a B&M store than it is to find the makers from some pirated DVD

Uh... my parents just came back from Hong Kong a few days ago and I just asked them if they saw any KFGs there. They said it's the fast food version with noodles or something.. Picture McD's serving you some wonton instead of a Big Mac

This assumes a desire to protect American companies and interests. Which by it's very nature, The Chinese Government is not inclined to do. In short, why would they care if KFC gets their panties in a knot? Answer, They don't and won't. That the Chinese Government makes a big show of busting a CD / DVD pirate factory ignores the reality that 100's more are still in operation in the same province.
We grant them Favored Nation Status in order to prevent them from flooding the world market with US Currency and cheap products that would ruin the Western Economic model.
Tell you children to learn Chinese people, in the next 100 years they will be the dominant world power.
