I can't understand how KFC stays in business when there are better chains out there, let alone proper sit-down restaurants.

I can't understand why people don't understand that there's a place for these chains. I'm not always looking for the best piece of chicken I can find, sometimes I'm just craving KFC.

I can appreciate fast food. I just don't get why someone would go to a KFC when there's a Popeye's or Church's nearby.

KFC has better sides and buttermilk biscuits. I don't know what those things are that Popeye's calls a biscuit. KFC's chicken is 'good enough' if you get it from a high-volume location that rarely has chicken sitting around for too long.

I'm also constantly reminded how much difference there can be from one franchise location to another. I've seen it with multiple companies or chains, particularly franchise locations that are owned by foreigners (e.g. Indian/Punjabis).

You can't possibly own a restaurant or keep the appropriate or customary food/culinary standard if you don't even eat 80% of the items on your own menu. Floppy lukewarm fries? Fries are fries to them. Dessicated burger patties? They don't eat the stuff, beef is beef to them. Serve it!

I think KFC probably has the most delicious spice recipe of any fast food I can think of.

Be completely serious with me here. Are you just saying this to see if I internet rage or do you really enjoy their chicken that much?

Popeye's is expensive as shit, and don't have Popcorn chicken. Oh and KFC has better biscuits and MUCH better 'slaw. I don't really like KFC's regular chicken, but their popcorn chicken's good, and I could eat a gallon of their 'slaw. As for Church's, I like it a lot but the one closest to me has a lot of unsavory types who wander in and offer to suck your dick for some money. Which sort of makes it a place I'm not fond of frequenting.

I bet they're raising boneless chickens

I think KFC has been raising "beakless chickens" for decades...:p

I drove by the local "Popeye's Chicken" yesterday...they were advertising their "bonafied boneless chicken."

I never troll.

That's my opinion. I'm not saying other good things about it, but that's my opinion.

BTW, I like Popeye's sides a lot more than KFC's. The red beans and rice, the dirty rice - though KFC does have a pretty tasty - if likely horrible chemical soup - cake dessert.

I gave my love a cherry that had no stone.
I gave my love a chicken that had no bone.

Popeye's is spicy, isn't it? I don't like spicy food. I actually find the KFC Boneless Chicken to be too peppery. The bone-in chicken has much less pepper for some reason. I've never seen a Church's Chicken.

That all depends where you live, and who they have working at the select place. I find they can all taste pretty good, but a lot of times you end up with overcooked chicken.

Really anymore I'd rather just go buy some chicken and do it myself. Mine tastes better anyways (though still not any easier on the arteries).

I think it really depends on location.

Around here, base on my own experience, Popeye's > KFC > Church's > Groceries chicken > Walmart chicken.
