if your loking for a basic keyboard then why not get the basic model? they should go for 99 cent to 5 or 10 bucks. i got 4 dell models if you want one i'll send it for $5 shipped. check your local retail stores they may have it for the same price or even cheaper!

Is there any brand that you would suggest. By basic, I am not necessarily looking for the cheapest one out there. Money is really not an option, I just want a regular keyboard but a good one.

The best basic keyboards are the old school IBM click ones IMO. Those are expensive and hard to find now though.

buy one from this guy...dell keyboards are great, especially the older two-tone grayish ones (not the black ones, although they are good too). I think they're called Dell QuietKey keyboards.

Logitech makes very good keyboards and so does Microsoft, just make sure you get one with palmrest to start with as alredy suggested in this thread.
