I recently got a new computer and every so often after it has been on for a while the key board will not respond. I type and nothing happens. After rebooting it works. Any ideas on what may be causing it.

Are you going through any converters or anything?

PS2 - USB, etc?

I have that happen to me too. Im using USB on both.

USB keyboard support enabled in BIOS? That really shouldn't matter, but it's worth trying.
