Keyboard wear patterns - can you tell which keys you use most often by how shiny they are?

I was jsut looking at this keyboard I've had here for two or three years, and it's become really obvious that I always hit space directly belowthe "M" with my right thumb. Also, the only F key that shows any wear is F5, and the left shift button is getting fairly shiny while the right shift button looks brand new.

For some reason this is actually interesting to me.

I hit the space bar just a little to left of center of the N key. The right side of my left shift key is pretty worn. The only others that shot noticable wear is the left ctrl key, and the A key is heavily worn.

My whole keyboard is polished. I've been using this Econo-keyboard I got for free way back in 97. It's so noisy when i type, but i can't bring myself to through it out and get a new one. It still works perfectly fine, so i don't really see the reason.

Oh, my space bar is really polished in the same area as "notfred"

A, S, D, and the E - to a lesser degree(strange, I thought the letter 'e' was the most commonly used).

I usually hit the space bar with my right thumb and it is all nice and shiney right under the "N" and "M" and the left side of the space bar looks all sorts of new. The right side of my left shift button is pretty worn down and my "F" and "J" keys look pretty worn but I suppose that is because of me usually resting my index fingers there.

If you have those covers for your keyboard those things turn yellow...
My public library has them...
Same ones for almost a decade...
There're as yellow as yellow can be...

"9" comes loose all the time now. Probably because I used to hit it frantically to deploy the parachute while playing BF1942.
