Keyboard skin?

My keyboard is going and a new one is on the way but I want to keep it clean and last longer. I despise cleaning keyboards since grime doesn't come off without a little force and I fear that may damage the keys.

What would you recommend for a plastic covering I can take off and wipe down?
 
They sell these things everywhere, I bet your local CompUSA or Office Max has em. Covering your keyboard actually helps you type faster.
 
Both of those stores are 45 minute trips from here and I lack a car ... and a license ....

I'm just looking for a well made one since I've never used one before.
