Keyboard recommendations?

hey guys, I want to get a new keyboard and was looking for some opinions. I'm looking for one with really soft/quiet keys that aren't hard to press down. A lot of the keyboards I always try in the store seem to suck. I really like the Dell oem keyboard they send with Dim2400's, but I'd like something with some multimedia features/keys if possible.

It doesn't have to be wireless or anything. Although, I'd definitely take one under consideration if the keys are soft/quiet and very responsive to touch.

Thanks for your help guys.

I have the logitech cordless mx duo. It seems to me to do all the things you ask. I recommend go to a store and try one out in person, because i think its quiet and easy to press, but you might not. Just beware of logitech drivers and Winamp. I have some problems, but I can usually work around it

I have the MS Internet keyboard, and it's pretty nice. A friend has the multimedia one and i hate it.

Yep, I got one a couple of years back, now I refuse to use anything else.
The keys are just the right size, and "press resistance" is perfect, IMO at least.
Not to mention the fact that they're the most durable keyboards I've ever used, I've had to replace one, but that's cause...I took an axe to it...after losing a game of Quake.

They kinda remind of the old IBM PS2 keyboards, the big heavy ones, cept these aren't nearly as heavy, and they aren't as loud.

Just remember that it doesn't have those "internet keys" or whatever they're called, this is a plain keyboard, just a very good one.

I hate those stupid keys, the only useful extra key on my current keyboard is the calculator shortcut.

Sounds good, I could care less about the intarweb keys. I'm just curious if its controller can handle simultaneous pressing of S, D, and C with all functioning. It pisses me off to no end when I can't crouch and move right/rearward in games 😀

I've never had a problem with that 🙂
