Are you trying to install the drivers with a disk/cd provided by the keyboard manufacturer, or are you trying to update the driver through hardware manager? (IE going to the keyboard section and clicking update driver, having it search the internet)
If you haven't tried leting it search for a driver on the internet, give that a shot. Windows device manager can usually find a driver for an item if one exists and isn't already installed on your system.
Not quite sure what to make of it though..most keyboards are just automatically detected once you plug them into a port. That is, if you're using windows - that's all I have experience with. Well, windows and DOS..I'm still a bit of a DOS person at heart. Old habits die hard.. (I still use DOS to navigate rather then windows explorer)
Anyhoo..
Settings --> Control Panel --> System --> Hardware --> Device Manager --> Keyboard section --> Driver tab
Click update driver and see if it will let you update it from the internet (Let it search for a recommended device driver - the next window after that should have Microsoft Windows Update box checked - which means it will scan through the net for a driver that will get your component to work.)
Hope all goes well!
