Keyboard problem

I've had this problem for quite some time now and can't figure it out.

Out of the blue my keyboard will quit working/responding.
i'll have to shut down, and then restart before it will start working.(sometimes i have to pull out PS/2 plug, then plug back in before it will work again)

sometimes it won't mess up for weeks, but then it will mess up like 4 times a day.
have tried quite a few different Keyboards with no luck.they all do the same thing.

(Seems to mess more, when i'm typing alot)

keyboard wire can't jiggle lose from the board the way its setup.

Specs:

Abit BE6 Board (this may be the problem)
512Mb PC133
PIII 866
20G WD HD
Aureal Platinum PCI Sound
3com NIC ISA
HP Burner
NEC Internet Keyboard

If anyone may know a cause for this problem,it would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Shawn.
