keyboard problem in games?

hi everyone,

first of all i gotta say my keyboard sucks. i'll purchase another one later..
however i hope that you can solve me this annoying trouble:

-when i'm playing games like nfs4 and i pressed more than 3 keys my pc speaker beeps one time and the game hangs by a moment...so the game is unplayable for me.

don't ask me the keyboard brand it doesn't even have.

is there a sofware solution?
 
It could be your ram, not enough, or your signal to the Keyboard not enough voltage.
Usually a poor power supply will also do this.
Or your keyboard is not within spec.
No software program to take care of it, eliminate with a new keyboard first as it is the cheapest way of troubleshooting, borrow one first to see if it is the keyboard.
 
i don't think is a lack of RAM i got 128mb.
but voltage could be cause i've just realized my keyboard is plugged to ps2 connector through a converter DIN-5/PS2 cable. Could be This?

OK, BTW could all of you recommend me a good/cheap keyboard?

i've been thinking about MS keyboard pro. is it a good choice?
 
I use MS internet keyboard pro and I like it so far.
The keys are much quieter than MS Internet Keyboard.

It also has a big spacebar and solid keyboard construction.
