Keyboard not recognizing

I moved my computer recently, and for some reason its being retarded and not recognizing my keyboard, or any other keyboard i attach. I need it to recognize it so i can enter the password to even reach my desktop. I tried safe mode and it still wants the password, how can i get around this?

Im using windows XP, but its not exactly the factory version.
