keyboard locked out???

so i went into my bios and enabled USB keyboard... i then plugged in my USB keyboard... now when i boot up it says: keyboard locked, unlock keyboard.

so what the heck does that mean i just pres f1 and windows puts up fine but i dont want to have to hit f1 everytime i boot up...
 
The keyboard lock is usually a keyed switch on the front of your case. If you don't have one check your motherboard manual for the location of the pins for the switch and make sure something isn't hooked up wrong there. There might also be a setting in bios, not sure.
