With the mouse, when you single click on a file name it selects it and highlights it (usually in blue). When you click one time once more on the selected file, the file name goes into an edit mode and you can change the file name if you want. This is with the mouse. Is there a keyboard key that does the same? A keyboard key(s) that select a file and another key(s) command to go into edit mode? The arrow key lets you move from file to file in explorer, but is there a key command the enters file name edit mode, like with a mouse???

In most contexts, F2 will do a 'rename' on a selected file. This is not a Highly Technical question.
